Austrian, Czech Airlines and Alitalia increase flights to Armenia

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Concession manager of "Zvartnots" airport Armenia International Airports made agreements with Austrian, Czech Airlines and Alitalia Italian company to increase the flights to Armenia.

Then, Austrian and Czech Airlines will start flights 7 flights per week and Alitalia - 3 days per week - to Armenia.

 

"Being concerned about the situation created over Armavia Air company and despite of having suffered many losses like the other interested parties, we would like to announce that our company continues working actively with the other operating air companies with the purpose of filling the possible gaps created in the market", the company reported adding that discussions on the increase of flight frequencies are held with many other air companies.

 

Starting from early June, Polish LOT airline (5 flights per week) will resume flights to Armenia and Fly Dubai is expected to realize daily flights to Armenia.

 

It should be recalled that Armenian national carrier Armavia stopped the flights and announced bankruptcy procedure.
