“European Studies” course presented in Yerevan State Linguistic University

Yerevan/Mediamax/. The presentation of “European Studies” course was held in the Yerevan State Linguistic University after V. Brusov today.

Head of UNESCO Chair of the University, former Speaker of the Armenian parliament Tigran Torosyan said that the new course “won’t yield to the level of European universities in terms of its programs and content”.

Rector of the University Suren Zolyan noted that the European direction “has always been traditional for the university” and the university is currently working out joint learning courses on “European Studies” its partners from Kazakhstan, Georgia, Russia, China and Iran.

Head of the Diplomatic Academy of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Vahe Gabrielyan stated his readiness to cooperate with the Linguistic University.

Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia Onno Simons also took part in the event presenting the students the development of European Union’s cooperation with Armenia.
