Yerevan/Mediamax/. European Broadcasting Union (EBU) announced today that Armenia has officially refused to participate in "Eurovision 2012” contest in Baku.
The official site of the international song contest says that the Armenian Public TV officially informed the EBU that it refuses to take part in the event.
“We are deeply disappointed with Armenia’s decision not to participate in the contest this year”, stated John Ola Sand on behalf of the organizers.
The Executive Supervisor of the contest noted that their efforts to change its mind didn’t bear any results.
