Yerevan/Mediamax/. Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Avinyan has stated that all countries are struggling with a public health crisis and COVID-19 will be a problem for a long time yet.
“The restrictions we imposed in Armenia allowed us to win time and adapt to the situation, and increase the capacity of our healthcare system,” Avinyan said at the virtual meeting with the Regional Action Group for Europe and Eurasia of the World Economic Forum on May 18.
The Deputy PM has also noted that this crisis can spur important reforms, especially in digitization.
