“If we manage to maintain this dynamic, I mean, if the public follows all safety rules and the employers follow the sanitary and epidemiological rules, we can hope that the situation will remain manageable for a long time,” Torosyan said at the government meeting.
“1,500 people have been let out of the quarantine so far. The remaining 300 citizens have tested positive for COVID-19. It means that the preventive measures have been very effective,” he pointed out.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has added that the epidemic curve is under control at the moment, but it is possible that neglect of safety rules by the citizens will make the situation unmanageable for the government.
Pashinyan has also noted that the Commandant’s Office has decided to fully isolate the entire Norashen village in Ararat marz as a preventive measure against the spread of the virus.
