Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has expressed conviction that technological achievements will significantly change our social and political behaviors.
“Numerous people will influence the politics by simply using their electronic devices, making notes on Twitter, Facebook. This is the new way of doing politics. We are dealing with a completely new world, where individuals’ voices are heard, and they will have a serious impact on decision-making processes,” Armen Sarkissian stated at 2019 Horasis Global Meeting in Portugal.
President Sarkissian is convinced that we shouldn’t be afraid of artificial intelligence.
“This is the same history, as the one 30-40 years ago, when people were afraid of information technologies, thinking that computers will deprive them of their jobs. But no, artificial intelligence will allow creating new jobs. The only aspect to change will be the quality and nature of human activity. We are moving towards a more innovative world,” Armen Sarkissian emphasized.
