Yerevan /Mediamax/. According to the pre-election survey Gallup International Association has conducted in Armenia, in the early parliamentary elections on December 9 My Step alliance is set to receive 68.3% of votes, Prosperous Armenia is likely to get 6.7% and the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) could gain 1.5%.
Director of MPG LLC, Gallup’s exclusive representative in Armenia, Aram Navasardyan has shared the results of the survey that show the distribution of votes between other political actors:
Bright Armenia – 1.2%,
ARF – 1%,
Sasna Tsrer – 0.9%,
Christian Democratic Revival – 0.3%,
“We” (“Menk”) alliance – 0.3%,
Citizen’s Decision social democratic party – 0.2%,
Orinats Yerkir (“Rule of law”) – 0.1%,
National Progress – 0%.
6.7% of the surveyed found it difficult to choose and 12.7% declined to answer.
The results of the survey indicate that 69% of participants receive information about political processes from TV and 37.7% use Facebook for that purpose.
My Step received the best score when the surveyed were asked to define their attitude towards the mentioned political parties and alliance. 52.7% feel exclusively positive about the alliance and 32.9% said they felt “more positive than not”.
The “face-to-face” survey was conducted on November 17-21 and included 1111 eligible voters.
