Yerevan/Mediamax/. The departure hall of the new terminal of “Zvartnots” international airport was put into operation today.
Argentinean entrepreneur Eduardo Ernekian, the owner of the company which manages the airport said that “the new terminal will raise Armenia’s rating all over the world and contribute to the increase in tourist inflow”, Mediamax reports.
“Armenia need the best”, noted Eduardo Ernekian.
Speaking about the plans, the entrepreneur said that they plan expansion of the airport’s territory, construction of the highway to the airport and railway in the future. A hotel will be built adjacent to the territory of the airport.
The arrival hall of the new terminal was opened back in October 2011.
