Yerevan/Mediamax/. General Department of Civil Aviation (GDCA) of Armenia has no information on the intention of Turkish Airlines to open an office in Yerevan in order to realize Yerevan-Istanbul-Los-Angeles flights.

Mediamax was informed on this in GDCA press service today.

Bloomberg Agency spread information today referring to Hurriyet newspaper about Turkish Airlines’ intention to open an office in Yerevan in order to organize transit flights between Yerevan and Los-Angeles via Istanbul.

Mediamax recalls that recently the representatives of Armenian organizations of Los-Angeles protested against the decision of famous basketball player Kobe Bryant to become the “face” of Turkish Airlines.
