Yerevan/Mediamax/. The transport airplane of Armenian Air Forces Il-76, which had technical problems in Russia yesterday, has successfully returned to Yerevan, spokesman for the Armenian Defense Ministry, David Karapetian, told Mediamax today.

Russian media reported that on June 28, the Armenian Il-76 took off from “Marinkova” airfield in Volgograd region but some time later it landed on the same airfield as the landing gear could not be retracted.

David Karapetian told Mediamax that after the landing the plane underwent additional technical checkup and then successfully returned to Armenia.
