Pashinyan: “Azerbaijan was wrong and we were right”

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has said that the latest statement of OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs was constructive.

“The statement is in line with our views on renewal or continuation of the peace talks. We have principles in the negotiations but we do not impose them as pre-conditions. It is Azerbaijan that has pre-conditions, saying that Karabakh can only be part of Azerbaijan,” Pashinyan said, addressing the parliament.

“The July clashes have changed the following routine: we said Armenia and Artsakh would not be talked to in the language of force and Azerbaijan said it would settle the Karabakh conflict with force in 24 hours. As we can see, Azerbaijan was wrong and we were right,” said Pashinyan.
