Yerevan, July 1. /Mediamax/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received the delegation of Prosecutors Generals which arrived from a number European and CIS countries on the 95th anniversary of prosecutor's service in Armenia today.
Stressing the fact that not a single country in the world can take up effective struggle against organized crime by itself, Serzh Sargsyan thanked all the countries which closely cooperate and provide legal assistance to Armenia.
During the meeting, the Armenian President awarded Order of Honor to Prosecutor General of Russia Yuri Chayka for his significant contribution to Armenian-Russian cooperation in justice sphere.
Yuri Chayka stated that Armenian and Russian Prosecutor's Offices have established relations which can fully be referred to as strategic partnership. The Prosecutor General of Russia stressed the importance of not only bilateral cooperation but also joint effective work within Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of CIS Member States, Council of Europe structures as well as International Association of Prosecutors.
