Yerevan, March 12. /Mediamax/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan in Kremlin today.

This trip to Moscow was the first foreign visit of the Armenian President after his re-election on February 18.

"During the negotiations, key issues of further development of multidimensional political, trade, economic and humanitarian interaction and as well as development of integration processes in the CIS space are going to be discussed", the press service of the Kremlin reports.

The previous meeting of Vladimir Putin with Serzh Sargsyan was held in Moscow on December 19, 2012.

The Kremlin press service reported that Vladimir Putin will also meet with Abkhazian leader Alexander Ankvab in Kremlin today.

Supposedly, the Russian President's meetings with Sargsyan and Ankvab will focus on prospects of rehabilitation of the railway communication across Abkhazia.

Mediamax notes that in August 2011, Alexander Ankvab stated the readiness to open a railway transit in Armenia.

In January 2013, Abkhazian President called the prospect of resumption of the railway communication "vague" and said that "multibillion investments" are needed for full rehabilitation of the railway.
