Yerevan/Mediamax/. Permanent Under-Secretary at the Foreign Office of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Simon Fraser said today that "we are interested in expanding involvement of British companies on the Armenian market - in particular, information technologies, tourism and other spheres”.

He said this during his meeting with Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Mediamax reports.

The sides stressed the bilateral interest to develop Armenian-British cooperation and establish new economic ties. The sides also touched upon possible cooperation in the spheres of finance, agriculture, processing industry and pharmacy.

Speaking on Armenia's European integration process, Simon Fraser expressed Great Britain's support to our country on the path of signing Association Agreement and implementation of reforms in Armenia.

Simon Fraser was also received by the Armenian President and Foreign Minister today.

In his exclusive interview to Mediamax in 2012, Great Britain’s Foreign Office State Minister for Europe David Lidington noted that "Armenia should make it more attractive for foreign investments and form a competitive domestic market". --0--
