Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan said today that "tomorrow, his representatives will announce the conclusion to apply to Constitutional Court to put off February 18 presidential elections for 2 weeks and recognizing "an insurmountable obstacle” against him.
Paruyr Hayrikyan said talking to journalists in “Grigor Lusavorich” medical center today that originally, he “didn't intend to put off the elections for any day due to democratic principles,” Mediamax's correspondent reports.
Paruyr Hayrikyan said that his representatives started holding consultations and studies trying to find out to what extent what had happened might affect the election process.
According to him, his final decision will be clear after opinion exchange with his representatives and other candidates.
Paruyr Hayrikyan ruled out the possibility of calling for new elections once for all as “it will be a conspiracy against the people”.
