Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated today that a task group has been set up which already deals with the organization of works on construction of Yeraskh-Joulfa-Ordubad-Meghri-Horadiz railway.

He reminded that Armenian Vice Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan discussed the works on technical formulation, projecting and construction with Russian counterpart Alexei Overchuk and head of Russian Railways company Oleg Belozyorov, who were visiting Yerevan recently.

“But there is an important step that we must take. It is a legal record of the agreements reached in Brussels with a signed document. We have agreed that the railway should operate in accordance with international rules, under the legislation and sovereignty of the countries, which means that control should be carried out at the border crossing points,” Nikol Pashinyan said at the Armenian parliament today.
