Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenia’s National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan signed the protocol on the termination of Armen Sarkissian’s authorities as the president of the Republic.
“Based on the resignation application of the President of the Republic and guided by the requirements of Article 142 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and Clause 2 of Part 1 and Part 2 of Article 147 of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, consider the authorities of the President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian terminated,” the protocol reads.
