Yerevan /Mediamax/. Russian-based Rosatom corporation and Armenia have signed Memorandum on Cooperation in construction of new nuclear power units.
TASS reports that the document was signed today in Dubai in the sidelines of World Expo-2020.
The leaderships of Rosatom and Armenian Nuclear Power Plant voiced readiness of cooperation to work on the opportunities to construct new Russian-designed nuclear power units in the territory of Armenian Nuclear Plant.
“I am sure that further cooperation in the construction of new nuclear power units will be an important factor not only for the development of the economy and the growth of the welfare of the Republic of Armenia, but also for the further development of strong good neighborly relations between our two countries,” Evgeny Pakermanov, President of Rusatom Overseas said.
