Yerevan /Mediamax/. Member of "Sasna Tsrer” Alek Yenigomshyan stated today that "Armenian authorities have no intention to continue peaceful talks and try to pressure us”.
Alek Yenigomshyan said this at the meeting with journalists at Khorenatsi St.
According to him, it has been 32 hours since power and food supply and medical help are unavailable at the seized Erebuni Police Station, and the telephones stopped working at night.
“Police tried to approach the station at night and demolish a wall. A military helicopter is flying above the station since te morning. These are steps aimed on escalation by the authorities. Members of “Sasna Tsrer” are not in favor of escalation. They take counter-actions, when the authorities make provocations,” Alek Yenigomshyan said.
He also informed that “Sasna Tsrer” chose a new representative for negotiations with the government, Commander of “Sisian” battalion Ashot Minasyan.
“Sasna Tsrer” made a statement, giving the authorities time until 20:00 today to restore power and food supply and the landline for the armed group. Otherwise, they call on people to start civil disobedience throughout the country.
