Yerevan /Mediamax/. Head of Union of Armenians of Russia (UAR) Ara Abrahamyan has today stated that he is going to set up a new party and take part in the upcoming parliamentary elections in 2017.
He has said this to journalists in Yerevan.
“Acquiring extensive experience and knowledge in various countries and realizing the current situation in Armenia, I couldn’t stand aloof and decided to take part in the elections. I don’t consider the party as a business. I just want to engage in development of Armenia”, said Ara Abrahamyan.
Head of the Union has noted that the future party will work out a program and mechanisms for solving problems which will be presented to the Armenian voters.

Commenting on the final draft of constitutional reforms put to the referendum on December 6, the head of UAR said that “it’s up to the people to agree or disagree with the changes”.
