Yerevan /Mediamax. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has stated that the status of Artsakh can be determined only within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group.

“There is a ceasefire document but there is no decision of the Minsk Group, which is the only institution with the authority to determine the status of Artsakh. No one will change this. The status has not been decided yet, it is just a ceasefire, and therefore, the process must return urgently to the format of Minsk Group.

All issues should be discussed. Azerbaijan should be forced to return to the Minsk Group,” he said during a meeting with heads of tech companies.

President Sarkissian has stressed that the priority now is to maintain the country’s stability.

“We must not allow debates, anger, internal outbursts to turn into mechanical steps. The important thing for me at the moment is not to allow anger, depression and anxiety to turn into political polarization and conflict,” he noted.
