Yerevan /Mediamax/. At the initiative of Russia, Armenia sent its military to Moscow to meet with representatives of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry to discuss the ceasefire monitoring mechanism in Nagorno-Karabakh, however Baku refused to do the same.
Spokesperson for the Armenian Prime Minister, Mane Gevorgyan, informed TASS about this.
“Yerevan positively responded to Russia’s initiative and delegated representatives of the Ministry of Defense to meet with the Azerbaijani side to coordinate the ceasefire monitoring mechanism in Nagorno Karabakh. As far as we know, Baku didn’t send its military to this meeting. This means that Baku, in fact, rejects the agreement reached in Moscow and responds by rejecting the initiative of the Russian Federation,” she said.
According to Gevorgyan, “Yerevan thinks that Turkey does not allow representatives of Azerbaijani Armed Forces to visit Moscow.”
