Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenia and Azerbaijan have confirmed their foreign ministers will participate in the consultations in Moscow held today.
“At the moment, we are actively preparing for this event,” official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova told TASS.
In the evening of October 8, Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a statement on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh:
“After a series of phone talks with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, the Russian President urges both sides to stop hostilities in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone for humanitarian purposes to allow exchange of bodies of killed and POWs.
Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia are invited to Moscow on October 9 to conduct consultations on these issued with the mediation of the Russian Foreign Minister.”
