Yerevan /Mediamax/. Russia is concerned about reports of militants being transported from Syria and Libya to the Karabakh conflict zone to take part in hostilities.
“We are deeply concerned about these processes, which not only contribute to the escalation of tensions in the region, but also pose long-term threats to the security of all the countries in the region.
“We call on the leaders of countries concerned to take active steps to prevent the involvement of foreign terrorists and mercenaries in the conflict and to withdraw them immediately from the region,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
