Yerevan /Mediamax/. French President Emmanuel Macron intends to discuss the situation in Artsakh with his Russian and U.S. counterparts.
TASS reports that Macron has announced his intention today in Riga, where he is on a visit at the moment.
Emmanuel Macron has underlined that the settlement of Karabakh conflict is mediated by OSCE Minsk Group, which is co-chaired by France, Russia and the USA.
“We have been in touch with our partners from the first hours of the escalation, at the level of the MFA and President of France. I am going to contact President Putin tonight and speak with President Trump tomorrow to exchange opinions and suggest solutions,” said Macron.
He has also expressed concerns over Turkey’s bellicose statements.
