Yerevan /Mediamax/. U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern said he hopes Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan will have another "meaningful meeting” in the near future.
John Heffern stated it answering Mediamax’s question at the presentation of the Armenian translation of the biography of Steve Jobs in Yerevan yesterday.
Commenting on OSCE Minsk group U.S. Co-Chair James Warlick’s statement the Ambassador said that the U.S. diplomat was attempting to give renewed impetus to the negotiation process. According to him, the statement aims to call on the conflict parties and societies to differentiate the status of Nagorno Karabakh and its adjacent territories.
“We feel that both capitals and people view those territories as whole Nagorno Karabakh whereas those are different territories, and there should be different outcomes depending on it”, said John Heffern.
