Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenia is going to join the Customs Union and take part in formation of Eurasian Economic Union.
The joint statement made by the Presidents of the two countries as a result of talks in Moscow reads this, RIA Novosti reports.
"Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan stated his country's decision to join the Customs Union, take up all the necessary practical steps to this end and take part in formation of Eurasian Economic Union in future", RIA Novosti quotes the joint statement of the Presidents.
"Russian President Vladimir Putin backed this decision and expressed the readiness of the Russian side to support the process in every way possible", RIA Novosti reports.
