Yerevan /Mediamax/. Russian president’s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov commented today on the call of the Russian State Duma deputy Mikhail Delyagin to strike at Azerbaijan’s oil infrastructure.

“This statement is a result of overflowing personal emotions. We would urge to control these emotions and refrain from such statements, especially in relation to our partners, and Azerbaijan belongs to the category of partner states,” TASS quoted Peskov as saying.

He stressed the need to avoid such rhetoric in conditions when “Russia is working very hard to continue efforts to maintain peace in the Karabakh region and to ensure fulfillment of the obligations by all parties.”
