Yerevan /Mediamax/. Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan during phone talk with Karen Donfried, the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, briefed on the situation created as a result of violation of the line of contact with Nagorno-Karabakh by Azerbaijan and infiltration into Parukh village in Artsakh.
The minister stressed that Azerbaijan grossly violates the commitments fixed in the trilateral statements, endangering the regional stability and peace.
Ararat Mirzoyan also referred to the Azerbaijan’s actions towards targeting and exerting psychological pressure against the people of Nagorno-Karabakh, hindering normal operation of vital infrastructures as a result of which Artsakh is on the brink of a humanitarian crisis.
He stressed that these actions are bright manifestations of Azerbaijan’s policy of ethnic cleansing and Armenophobia and stressed the need of targeted and clear response by international community, including the US.
