Yerevan /Mediamax/. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu discussed the issue on normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey.
Spokesperson of the U.S. Department of State Ned Price said during the phone conversation they “discussed Turkey-Armenia normalization and additional steps the United States could take to support these efforts.”
The main topic of the conversation was the situation created over Ukraine. Particularly, according to Price, “The Secretary emphasized our shared commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and noted President Erdogan’s engagement in support of a diplomatic resolution.”
