Yerevan /Mediamax/. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan voiced hope today that Vladimir Putin will pay a visit to Turkey following his visit to China.
“Today we will meet with Mr Zelensky, and Mr Putin told us that he will visit Turkey after his visit to China. For us it is wrong to observe the negative developments between Russia and Ukraine. I hope that we will successfully overcome this turbulent period between the two countries,” TASS quoted Erdogan as saying before flying to Kyiv.
“We repeatedly stated that we support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. We invite everyone to dialogue in order to ensure peace in the region. I once again emphasize that we are ready to contribute to establishing an atmosphere of peace and trust in our region,” Erdogan added.
