Yerevan /Mediamax/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu stated that the tension between Russia and NATO “have reached a dangerous level.”
TASS cited Cavusoglu as saying to TRT TV that “Turkey will not ignore close relations with Ukraine just because of its extensive relations with Russia.”
He stressed that Turkey “conducts diplomacy in accordance with the circumstances and requirements of the country’s national security.”
“It is hard work, but that is what diplomacy is for. The government of Turkey is building a foreign policy based on three pillars: national values and interests, the situation on the ground, the country’s capabilities,” Cavusoglu added.
