Yerevan /Mediamax/. Head of Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Naryshkyn has stated today that "Turkey openly taking the side of Azerbaijan in Karabakh conflict is a fundamentally new influence of external factors.”
“Clashes on the line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh happened before. The current escalation of the situation causes heightened concern not only because of its scale, but also because of the fundamentally new influence of external factors. For the first time, Turkey has so openly and unequivocally sided with Azerbaijan,” Naryshkin said as quoted by RIA Novosti.
