Yerevan /Mediamax/. Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Avinyan and Apostolic Nuncio to Armenia and Georgia José Avelino Bettencourt have discussed today the possibility of opening an embassy of Vatican in Yerevan.
The Deputy PM’s office has said that during the meeting, Tigran Avinyan has noted that close cooperation between Armenia and the Catholic Church is based not only on Christian values but also on common historical heritage and similar approaches to various challenges of the modern world.
