Russian PM: Upward development is observed in Armenian-Russian relations

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said today that upward development is observed in the relations with Armenia, which is evidenced by the frequency of high-level meetings and contacts between the heads of the states, representatives of the governments and parliaments.

According to the press service of the Armenian government, he said this at the meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Kyrgyzstan.

 

Nikol Pashinyan estimated positively the strategic cooperation between Armenia and Russia.

 

Particularly, he pointed out with satisfaction the progress in the sector of tourism. As of the results of the first 6 months of 2019, the number of tourists from Russia to Armenia has grown by 19% as compared to the same period last year.  

 

The Prime Ministers noted the dynamic growth in bilateral relations and stressed that active work should be continued to strengthen and develop the Armenian-Russian allied relations.
