Yerevan/Mediamax/. Baroness Emma Nicholson, the head of PACE delegation, said in Yerevan today that the voter turnout at May 6 parliamentary elections in Armenia was "impressive”.

Emma Nicholson said that during May 6 parliamentary elections the representatives of political parties sometimes assumed the responsibilities of commission members, interfering with the voters.

“We think the authorities should focus on this problem ahead of 2013 presidential elections,” the Baroness said.

The press conference of the International Observation Mission is currently underway in Yerevan.
