Yerevan /Mediamax/. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has stated today that the coronavirus situation continues to improve in the country.

“In the past 20 days, we have registered less than 200 cases daily. The number of active cases has dropped notably – we have less than 3,000 of them currently. The number of tests we run per day is unprecedentedly high and the percentage of positive results for the tests is low – it has made 5-6% in recent days,” said Pashinyan.

According to him, the high risk of deviation from this positive dynamic, which can be expected in the nearest future, is connected with the reopening of schools.

“We have to organize the renewal of educational process in the way that prevents another closure. It means that we must take measures to avoid a new coronavirus-related crisis,” said the Prime Minister.
