Yerevan /Mediamax/. Today the Armenian Commandant’s Office has set the date for reopening of public schools, institutions of primary and secondary vocational education, as well as musical schools and fine arts schools at September 15. The mentioned institutions are to reopen maintaining the regulations for the educational process as well as sanitary and hygienic norms.

The decision on higher education institutions and other educational organizations will be made within one week, said Minister of Education, Science, Sport and Culture Arayik Harutyunyan.

“The Commandant’s Office and our other colleagues have developed together with the Education Ministry a number of detailed procedures and guidelines for all relevant issues, which will be released in the coming days. Please follow only the official announcements on the matter from the government, the Commandant’s Office and the Ministry of Education,” said Harutyunyan.
