3.9% economy growth registered in Armenia as of the second quarter of 2011

Yerevan/Mediamax/. In April-June 2011, Armenian GDP made AMD 828bln 681.2mln having increased by 3.9% against the same period of 2010.

The growth rates of the Armenian economy increased in the second quarter: the growth made 1.2% in January-March2011, Mediamax reports quoting the Armenian National Statistical Service.

 

GDP per capita (per person) made AMD 253.7thousand or USD 678 as of the second quarter. As of the same period, the share of the agriculture within GDP made 14.6% for the same period, industry (energy including) -17.8%, construction – 14.2%, trade and services -43.3%.

 

As of the first quarter of 2011, the growth of the Armenian economy made 2.7% and the GDP volume made AMD 1trillion 444bln 584.4mln.
