Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan stated today that macro-economic situation in Armenia is stable.
Serzh Sargsyan said during today’s meeting with Armenian and French entrepreneurs in the Union of Entrepreneurs of France that Armenia maintains the stable financial and money-credit situation and pursues a policy of “open doors” to attract foreign investments.
“The start of Eastern Partnership brings the Armenia- EU relations into a brand new level. It opens serious opportunities for Armenian-French business partnership as well. First of all, we will hold negotiations on deep and comprehensive free trade zone with the EU which will result in establishing a system of integrated and liberalized economic relations. Secondly, we will conclude an agreement on visa regime facilitation which will contribute to the intercourse in business circles. And, in the third place, we initiated implementation of deep reforms with financial, technical and expert support of the European structures in taxation, customs and judiciary spheres, facilitation of business procedures which will facilitate your work”, said the Armenian President.
