Yerevan/Mediamax/. Alstom and Areva French companies are interested in starting their activities in Armenia in transport infrastructure and energy spheres.
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan stated this today during the meeting of Armenian and French businessmen in the Union of Entrepreneurs of France.
He was pleased to note that such large companies as Credit Agricole, France Telecom, Pernod Ricard, Alcatel and Grant Thornton are already presented in Armenia.
“France is Armenia’s major trade and investment partner and takes the second place by the volume of investments into our economy which made USD 695mln as of July 2011. 155 Armenian-French joints ventures are registered in Armenia”, said Serzh Sargsyan.
