Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian soldier Karen Galstyan born in 1994 was killed by an Azerbaijani sniper on January 28.
Karen Galstyan was deadly wounded in the head on January 28, in the fighting position of one of the military units to the north, the press-service of NKR Defense Ministry reports.
An investigation is carried out to reveal the details of the incident.
Mediamax recalls that on the night of January 19 and on the morning of January 20 Azerbaijani subversive groups made an attempt to enter the territory of NKR in the northeastern (Jraberd) and southeastern (Korgan) directions of the contact line of NKR and Azerbaijani troops. Junior sergeant Armen Hovhannisyan was killed as a result of the exchange of fire.
