Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan commented on the problem which was addressed by Chief Editor of Mediamax Davit Alaverdyan yesterday.
“We have recently received complaints at the services provided by Police – particularly while getting a driver license and vehicle registration. The Chief of Police has been instructed on this issue and we should improve the quality of the services in a short period of time. It’s a sphere where annually over 300 thousand Armenian citizens relate to the state. Thus, an attitude towards the state is being formed and if the quality of these services is not satisfactory it means there is discontent. To radically solve the problem, we will put into operation a new building of Road Police Service in Nubarashen which will be supplied with modern equipment. We have already started works on the software development and establishment of a joint database. We think servicing of our citizens for 20 minutes instead of today’s 1 hour will be realistic already in April. People now crowd in big queues, and I instructed the Chief of Police to personally control the problem and increase the number of employees”, said the Prime Minister.
Speaking about the quality of the services provided by the state, Tigran Sargsyan noted that there were improvements in the State Cadastre Committee, in the spheres of enterprise registration and passport issuance.
