Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Armed Forces and peacekeeping unit will take part in joint “Unbreakable Brotherhood-2016” peacekeeping training that will take place on August 23-27 in Belarus within Collective Security Treaty Organization.
Today the opening ceremony of military training took place in Belarus Armed Forces Military College.
During the two phases of training, CSTO peacekeeping forces will be exercising actions in preparation and implementation of maintaining peace in Collective Security region.
“Around 1500 soldiers, 300 air and ground military equipment are involved in “Unbreakable Brotherhood-2016” training. The main objectives of the training are establishment and strengthening of cooperation and mutual understanding, increasing the efficiency of joint operations and exchange of experience in CSTO member states’ peacekeeping forces.
Joint training of CSTO peacekeeping forces’ military exercises will start on August 24, during which various peacekeeping missions’ activities will be carried out.
