Yerevan, June 23. /Mediamax/. Chief of Armenian Police Alik Sargsian said today that he is going to submit a proposal to the parliament by the end of 2011 on toughening the law and increasing the amount of administrative fine for prostitution.
Alik Sargsian said that for the effective fight against prostitution “we have to work out new legislative acts and take this statement under control,” Mediamax reports.
The Chief of Police went on adding that police officers continue their “evening inspections” but this issue cannot be solved by means of small fines.
