Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian said today that the basic principles concerning NK conflict resolution presented by OSCE Minsk group Co-Chairs still remain on the negotiation table.
At the meeting with the journalists today, Edward Nalbandian noted that the OSCE Minsk group Co-Chairs more than once called on parties to reach agreement on the principles as soon as possible, Mediamax reports.
“Unlike Azerbaijan, Armenia has more than once confirmed its loyalty to those principles. In contrast, Azerbaijan goes on with its vain attempts to neglect those principles as well as the calls of the Co-Chairs”, the FM noted.
Edward Nalbandian said he is going to leave for Paris tomorrow to have a meeting with the OSCE Co-Chairs. Edward Nalbandian’s meeting with Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov is scheduled on January 24.
Touching on the Azerbaijani subversive actions on the border and their impact on the scheduled meeting, Edward Nalbandian said those provocations are aimed at creating additional obstacles to the negotiation process.
“There is no alternative to the negotiations, that is why we still continue them”, the FM said.
