Yerevan /Mediamax/. NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for South Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai hails Armenia's participation in the peacekeeping actions in Kosovo and Afghanistan under NATO's aegis.
James Appathurai said this at his meeting with Armenian President in Yerevan on October 17.
"The sides hailed Armenia's effective cooperation with NATO in all the areas noting that the political dialogue is long-term", the Armenian presidential press service reports.
"Serzh Sargsyan and James Appathurai shared the same opinion that as a result of Armenia-NATO close cooperation, a broad agenda is established which considerably helps improve and modernize defense and security systems of Armenia", the Armenian presidential press service reports.
