Yerevan/Mediamax/. The opening of Ayb school will be held in Yerevan October 8.
"On February 5, 2006, 6 graduates of Yerevan Physical and Mathematical School and of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) gathered at my place and agreed to create the " gymnasium of the future". We had no name at that time and didn't realize how difficult it was. But there was a desire to revive the strong school of the city we were born in. Thanks God, we didn't know how difficult it would be, otherwise we would have never initiated it," one of the founders of "Ayb" club, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ABBYY, David Yan, wrote on his Facebook page today.
"We managed to find brilliant teachers, not by enticing them from existing schools (as we would have made the difficult situation with teachers at schools even more difficult) but by attracting specialists from various countries, often working in their regions, who have agreed to teach in secondary school."
Today, 46 teachers work in Ayb school, 20 of them have doctorate degrees, 2 are honored Art workers, 7 are preparing to defend a thesis, 62% of teachers have an experience in teaching , they improved their professional skills and worked abroad. Our teachers are citizens of Armenia, USA, England and Sweden.
"Who did it? The team of "Ayb" Educational Fund, its inspirer, the graduate of Yerevan Physical and Mathematical School, graduate of MIPT Faculty of Applied and Common Physics, Father Mesrop Aramyan, Director of Ayb David Sahakyan, MIPT graduates Ashot Aslanyan, brothers David and Aram Pakhchanyans and other 15 very important members from various countries who helped financially, with their advice and useful ties," David Yan said.
According to Mediamax's information, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan is going to take part in the opening of Ayb school.
