Yerevan /Mediamax/. The Defense Ministry of Armenia stated that Armenian Armed Forces will take “preventive and tough” actions against Azerbaijani provocations.
“During his meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and responding to the latters' call upon demonstrating restraint in military actions on November 5, there was no firing over the whole period upon Seyran Ohanyan's order.
The December 14 incident as a result of which a contract serviceman, soldier Hrant Poghosyan was killed, shows once again that the Azerbaijani side ignores the calls of the Co-Chairs and goes on with its permanent approach ignoring the ceasefire, particularly, during the Co-Chairs visit to Baku.
All this have caused Armenian Armed Forces to take preventive and tough actions”, the statement reads.
