Yerevan /Mediamax/. The U.S. will continue supporting Armenia-U.S. defense projects.
It was noted during the Armenia-U.S. defense consultations in Washington on July 29. The consultations were co-chaired by First Deputy Defense Minister of Armenia Davit Tonoyan and U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Evelyn Farkas.
The American side particularly expressed the readiness to continue supporting the projects meant for fulfilling the key goals of Armenia-U.S. cooperation - defense reforms and enhancing capacities of interoperable subdivisions involved in UN and NATO peace and stability operations - peacekeeping brigade, field hospital and peacekeeping engineering subdivisions.
